Severe weather is possible across parts of Oklahoma and Arkansas.

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for Choctaw, McCurtain and Pushmataha counties in the southeast region of Oklahoma until 2 a.m. Sunday.

The National Weather Service also issued a tornado watch for Hempstead, Howard, Little River, Miller and Sevier counties in the southwestern region of Arkansas until 2 a.m. Sunday.

The weather service said the watch runs along and 70 miles east and west of a line from 10 miles southwest of Tyler, Texas, to 25 miles north-northwest of DeQueen, Ark.

Tornadoes, hail up to 2.5 inches in diameter and thunderstorm wind bursts to 70 mph are possible.
